MicroVision SHOWWX+ Laser Pico Projector


MicroVision has announced their second generation of laser pico projector codenamed as SHOWWX+. This SHOWWX+ pico projector is capable of projecting images from 12-inch to 100-inch larger display without a reasonable range.

According to the creator, this second generation of laser pico projector is about 50 percent brighter, and about five times higher in contrast ratio using the same specs of 15 Laser lumens lens. MicroVision SHOWWX+ laser pico projector has 2 hours of battery life, and it’s compatible with most mobile gadgets such as mobile phone, iPhone, notebook, tablets, or anything else with video out.

MicroVision SHOWWX+ laser pico projector is available for MSRP of $449, has included optional accessories, tripods, battery, VGA connectors, car charger and carrying case in the bundle.

AAXA L1 v2 Laser Pico Projector Announced


AAXA Technologies has just introduced its newest L1 v2 laser pico projector, successor to the original L1. The updated design improves the performance of L1 v2 by increasing the thermal efficiency of the PCOS laser light engine. It packs unique three-color laser light source for producing images with amazing color saturation that are always in focus.

Utilizing LCoS imager, the L1 v2 features 800×600 resolution, 20 lumens brightness and 2000:1 contrast. It can produce up to 50-inch image. Like most pico projectors on the market, the L1 v2 includes media playback capability supporing AVI, ASF, WMV, MPG video; MP3, WAV, AAC audio, JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP images as well as popular document formats such as DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF. The projector USB port and is able to reading files directly off a standard USB thumb drive. It packs a mono 1W speaker and onboard 1.5 hour battery.
