Altec Lansing adds to its Octiv line the new Octiv Stage MP450 docking speaker system for the iPad. This is not the first iPad speaker dock we’ve seen, but it is Altec Lansing’s first product designed to support iPad. The Octiv Stage is intended to significantly enhance center channel voicing for dialogue as well as stereo audio while playing and charging the iPad.
The Octiv Stage MP450 pivots to portrait or landscape orientation, allowing users to flip the iPad into landscape mode for enjoying movie and video, and offers multiple viewing angles for optimal comfort. It comes with a full-featured remote control. The Octiv Stage can also be used with other audio sources via AUX input jack.
