Netbook Freeware : Video Downloaders for Netbooks

Netbooks are small and light, so they are great tools to watch online videos on the move. Now what if you are going to a region where you do not have a good internet connection? Today, I will disuss about applications that will allow users to download youtube, metacafe vidoes in advance so that you can enjoy them on the move. There are quite a few applications available today so I am going to discuss about some selected applications only.

1. Youtube Downloader HD 

This tool is very simple and just like all the other video downloaders it is simple and straight forward. In the screenshot above you can see that you only need to enter the video URL into the video URL box and select the download quality from the Download option. Select the Save to location and you are good to go. The progress will be shows on the bar below and it will also include the download size status. Download : Youtube Downloader HD
2. KeepVid

Keepvid is a website that downloads videos directly to your PC without the need to install any local softwares.However, you will need to install a java application though that will enable you do the conversation required to download files. Visit : http://keepvid.com/
3. Orbit Downloader

Orbit download is a new downloader which works great for the new generation web (web2.0) downloading, such as video/music/files from Myspace, YouTube, Imeem, etc. This particular software gives users the options to download videos from piratically all the new web 2.0 systems out there.Download Orbit Downloader
